Suburban Propane Partners is engaged in the distribution of propane, fuel oil and refined fuels, as well as the marketing of natural gas and electricity in deregulated markets. In support of its primary marketing and distribution operations, Co. installs and services a range of home comfort equipment, particularly in the areas of heating and ventilation. At Sep 29 2012, Co. served more than 1.2 million residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers through about 750 locations in 41 states. Co.'s operations are concentrated in the east and west coast regions of the U.S. Co. has three reportable segments: Propane, Fuel Oil and Refined Fuels, and Natural Gas and Electricity.
