Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IYK ETF Channel - Friday, May 17, 4:06 PMThe iShares Dow Jones U.S. Consumer Goods Sector Index Fund (IYK) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 144,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 33,000. Shares of IYK were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Ford (F), trading up about 2.9% with over 44 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Tesla Motors (TSLA), off about 0.9% on volume of over 15 million shares. Goodyear Tire (GT) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 6.2% on the day, while Treehouse Foods (THS) is lagging other components of the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Consumer Goods Sector Index Fund, trading lower by about 1.8%.
