Power Integrations designs, develops, manufactures and markets high-voltage, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) and high-voltage silicon diodes. Co.'s products are used in electronic power supplies, also known as switched-mode power supplies or switchers. Co. provides IC products that can be used in alternate current - direct current (DC) power supplies with output wattages up to about 500 watts. Co. also provides the DPA-Switch family of products, its high-voltage DC-DC power conversion IC for applications such as power-over-Ethernet powered devices. Co.'s ICs are mostly used in power supplies intended for the communications, consumer, computer and industrial end markets.
