Description to the MSCI EAFE Index Fund, traded under ticker symbol EFA: This ETF is a fund, created in August 2001, that corresponds to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of equities traded in the Australasia, European and Far Eastern markets, as measured by the MSCI EAFE Index. The underlying index measures international equity performance. It includes twenty one MSCI country indices, representing the developed markets outside of North America, including Europe, Australasia and the Far East. MSCI aims to include 85% of its international indices of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in each industry group, within each country.
