NUGT, XTL: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, June 13, 10:49 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Daily Gold Miners Index Bull 3X Shares (NUGT), where 8,150,000 units were destroyed, or a 11.8% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the SPDR S&P Telecom ETF (XTL), which lost 550,000 of its units, representing a 37.9% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of XTL, in morning trading today Zayo Group Holdings (ZAYO) is up about 0.1%, and Vonage Holdings Corp (VG) is higher by about 1.3%.
