VBK, SVXY: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, June 12, 1:11 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Vanguard Small-Cap Growth ETF (VBK), which shed 5,800,000 shares, or a 19.3% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VBK, in morning trading today Panera Bread Company Class A (PNRA) is up about 0.2%, and W. R. Grace & Company (GRA) is lower by about 1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Short VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (SVXY), which lost 100,000 of its shares, for a whopping 28.6% decline in outstanding shares.
