Thursday's ETF Movers: SOXX, XLU
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, September 19, 12:19 PMIn trading on Thursday, the iShares Semiconductor ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 4.7% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Wolfspeed, up about 6.4% and shares of Advanced Micro Devices, up about 6.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the The Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF, down about 1.3% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Nextera Energy, lower by about 3.2%, and shares of Pinnacle West Capital, lower by about 2% on the day.
