Wednesday's ETF Movers: XOP, CQQQ
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, March 20, 1:17 PMIn trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Northern Oil and Gas (NOG), up about 8.2% and shares of Whiting Petroleum (WLL), up about 6% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Invesco China Technology ETF (CQQQ), off about 2.4% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Xunlei (XNET), lower by about 5.8%, and shares of Fang Holdings (SFUN), lower by about 5.4% on the day.
