EZU, HSCZ: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, August 21, 10:54 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Eurozone ETF (EZU), where 12,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 5.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EZU, in morning trading today NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) is up about 0.6%, and Coca-Cola European Partners (CCE) is lower by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares Currency Hedged MSCI EAFE Small-Cap ETF (HSCZ), which lost 250,000 of its units, representing a 35.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
