VBK, FHK: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, January 17, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Vanguard Small-Cap Growth ETF (VBK), where 13,191,010 units were destroyed, or a 30.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VBK, in morning trading today Petrobras (PZE) is trading flat, and United States 12 Month Oil (USL) is up by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Hong Kong AlphaDEX Fund (FHK), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
