VWO, ICLN: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, September 21, 11:35 AMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), which added 12,008,624 units, or a 0.8% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) is off about 0.1%, and Industrial Services American (IDSA) is relatively unchanged.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the iShares Global Clean Energy ETF (ICLN), which added 3,200,000 units, for a 34.0% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of ICLN, in morning trading today First Solar (FSLR) is off about 3.1%, and Pattern Energy Group (PEGI) is higher by about 0.9%.
