HDV, EDOW: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, September 25, 11:06 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Core High Dividend ETF (HDV), where 6,400,000 units were destroyed, or a 7.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of HDV, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is up about 0.8%, and AT&T (T) is up by about 1.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Dow 30 Equal Weight ETF (EDOW), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of EDOW, in morning trading today Dowdupont (DWDP) is down about 0.1%, and Verizon Communications (VZ) is up by about 0.2%.
