DVY, BKF: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, May 22, 10:49 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Select Dividend ETF (DVY), where 2,600,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of DVY, in morning trading today Lockheed Martin (LMT) is up about 2.5%, and CME Group (CME) is higher by about 0.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares MSCI BRIC ETF (BKF), which lost 2,100,000 of its units, representing a 25.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of BKF, in morning trading today Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) is up about 1.3%, and Baidu (BIDU) is up by about 1.6%.
