XME, ULE: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, April 28, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF (XME), where 950,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XME, in morning trading today Coeur Mining (CDE) is up about 1.5%, and Allegheny Technologies (ATI) is up by about 0.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Ultra Euro (ULE), which lost 400,000 of its units, representing a 30.8% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
