XLV, SVXY: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, April 26, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV), where 3,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLV, in morning trading today Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) is up about 0.6%, and Pfizer (PFE) is higher by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (SVXY), which lost 750,000 of its units, representing a 15.2% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
