ITB, UMX: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, April 27, 10:55 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF (ITB), where 2,350,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.9% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of ITB, in morning trading today DR Horton (DHI) is down about 0.1%, and Lennar Corporation (LEN) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Ultra MSCI Mexico Capped IMI (UMX), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 12.5% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
