GDXJ, EFO: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, April 25, 11:26 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), where 6,000,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GDXJ, in morning trading today Alamos Gold (AGI) is off about 4.4%, and Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is lower by about 3.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Ultra MSCI EAFE (EFO), which lost 25,000 of its units, representing a 20.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
