XLP, DXJR: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, January 20, 10:57 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP), where 8,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 5.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLP, in morning trading today Procter & Gamble Company (PG) is up about 3.2%, and Coca-Cola Company (KO) is up by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Fund (DXJR), which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 18.2% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
