IAU, PEZ: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, December 6, 10:51 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Gold Trust (IAU), where 13,200,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.9% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the PowerShares DWA Consumer Cyclicals Momentum Portfolio (PEZ), which lost 200,000 of its units, representing a 20.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of PEZ, in morning trading today The Priceline Group (PCLN) is off about 0.1%, and Dominos Pizza (DPZ) is higher by about 0.8%.
