XME, JPXN: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, July 27, 10:48 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Metals and Mining ETF (XME), where 4,250,000 units were destroyed, or a 13.6% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XME, in morning trading today Coeur Mining (CDE) is up about 3.3%, and Hecla Mining (HL) is higher by about 1.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares JPX-Nikkei 400 ETF (JPXN), which lost 1,200,000 of its units, representing a 40.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
