SPY, PUI: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, February 12, 10:46 AMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 26,050,000 units, or a 2.9% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is off about 0.3%, and Microsoft (MSFT) is up by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the PowerShares DWA Utilities Momentum Portfolio (PUI), which added 1,850,000 units, for a 38.5% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of PUI, in morning trading today Duke Energy (DUK) is off about 0.2%, and NiSource (NI) is higher by about 0.6%.
