EWH, IUSB: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, February 8, 10:53 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Hong Kong ETF (EWH), where 10,650,000 units were destroyed, or a 9.3% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EWH, in morning trading today Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL) is off about 5.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares Core Total USD Bond Market ETF (IUSB), which lost 1,450,000 of its units, representing a 23.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
