EWU, PAF: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, November 24, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI United Kingdom ETF (EWU), where 33,000,000 units were destroyed, or a 17.4% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the PowerShares FTSE RAFI Asia Pacific ex-Japan Portfolio (PAF), which lost 300,000 of its units, representing a 37.5% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of PAF, in morning trading today Clearbridge American Energy MLP (CBA) is up about 1.2%, and Wabco Holdings (WBC) is lower by about 0.5%.
