EEM, AND: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, June 29, 10:50 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM), where 4,050,000 units were destroyed, or a 0.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EEM, in morning trading today Credicorp (BAP) is off about 2.4%, and Digital Power Corporation (DPW) is up by about 3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the FTSE Andean 40 ETF (AND), which lost 200,000 of its units, representing a 30.8% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of AND, in morning trading today Banco de Chile (BCH) is down about 2.1%, and Banco Santander Chile (BSAC) is lower by about 1.8%.
