ACWI, HYND: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, January 28, 1:02 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI ACWI ETF (ACWI), where 14,400,000 units were destroyed, or a 11.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of ACWI, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is up about 8%, and Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is lower by about 1.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the WisdomTree BofA Merrill Lynch High Yield Bond Negative Duration Fund (HYND), which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 25.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
