IWM, HEZU: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, December 19, 12:48 PMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM), which added 16,150,000 units, or a 6.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IWM, in morning trading today Isis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS) is up about 7.6%, and Puma Biotechnology (PBYI) is higher by about 10.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the iShares Currency Hedged MSCI EMU ETF (HEZU), which added 500,000 units, for a 35.7% increase in outstanding units.
