XLP, SMH: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, October 24, 1:15 PMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP), which added 12,450,000 units, or a 7.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLP, in morning trading today Procter & Gamble Company (PG) is up about 3.1%, and Coca-Cola Company (KO) is up by about 0.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Semiconductor ETF (SMH), which added 2,050,063 units, for a 33.2% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of SMH, in morning trading today Intel Corporation (INTC) is up about 0.9%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) is lower by about 1.1%.
