VGK, EFO: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, October 1, 12:24 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF (VGK), where 4,599,929 units were destroyed, or a 1.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VGK, in morning trading today Nestle (NSRGY) is off about 1.2%, and Novartis (NVS) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Proshares Ultra MSCI EAFE (EFO), which lost 250,000 of its units, representing a 35.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
