EEM, FJP: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, September 18, 12:06 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM), where 19,350,000 units were destroyed, or a 2.0% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EEM, in morning trading today Credicorp (BAP) is up about 0.6%, and Mobile Telesystems (MBT) is up by about 1.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Japan AlphaDEX Fund (FJP), which lost 499,998 of its units, representing a 37.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
