Western Gas Partners is engaged primarily in the business of gathering, processing, compressing, treating and transporting natural gas, condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and as well as third-party producers and customers. As of Dec 31 2011, Co.'s assets consisted of 11 gathering systems, seven natural gas treating facilities, seven natural gas processing facilities, one NGL pipeline, one interstate pipeline, and interests in a gas gathering system and a crude oil pipeline. Co. operates in East and West Texas, the Rocky Mountains (including Colorado, Utah and Wyoming), and the Mid-Continent (including Kansas and Oklahoma).
