Valero Energy is a petroleum refining and marketing company. Co. markets its refined products through a bulk and rack marketing network and sells refined products through a network of retail and wholesale branded outlets in the the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Aruba, and Ireland. Co. has three reportable business segments: refining, which consists of refining operations, wholesale marketing, product supply and distribution, and transportation operations; ethanol, which includes sales of internally produced ethanol and distillers grains; and retail, which includes Co.-operated convenience stores in the U.S. and Canada, filling stations, cardlock facilities, and heating oil operations in Canada.
