Varian Medical Systems operates in two segments: Oncology Systems and X-ray Products. The Oncology Systems segment designs, manufactures, sells and services hardware and software products for treating cancer with radiotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and brachytherapy. The X-ray Products segment provider of advanced hardware and software products for treatment of cancer with conventional radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, volumetric modulated arc therapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, SRS, SBRT and brachytherapy.
