Magellan Midstream Partners is engaged in the transportation, storage and distribution of petroleum products. As of Dec 31 2011, Co.'s asset portfolio consisted of: petroleum pipeline system, which is comprised of 9,600 miles of pipeline and 50 terminals; petroleum terminals, which include storage terminal facilities and inland terminals; and ammonia pipeline system, which represents its 1,100-mile ammonia pipeline and six terminals. Petroleum products transported, stored and distributed through Co.'s petroleum pipeline system and petroleum terminals include refined petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gases, blendstocks, oils and feedstocks, crude oil and condensate, and biofuels.
