Description to the Barclays MBS Bond Fund, traded under ticker symbol MBB: This ETF is a fund, created in March 2007, that corresponds to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the investment-grade, agency, mortgage-backed securities sector of the US as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. MBS Index. The underlying index looks at FNMA, GNMA and FHLMC mortgage-backed, pass-through securities that are fixed-rate and investment-grade, have fifteen, twenty and thirty year balloon maturities and mature in one year or more from the present.
