Gladstone Investment is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. Co. invests primarily in subordinated loans, mezzanine debt, preferred stock, common stock and warrants to purchase common stock of small and medium-sized companies, generally located in the U.S., in connection with buyouts and other recapitalizations. Co. also invests in senior secured loans and senior and subordinated syndicated loans. Co.'s Adviser, Gladstone Management Corporation and Administrator, Gladstone Administration, LLC, also provide investment advisory and administrative services, respectively, to its affiliates.
