Belo is a television company. As of Dec 31 2011, Co. owned 20 television stations, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW and MyNetwork TV affiliates, and their associated Web sites. Co.'s stations are concentrated primarily in three regions: Texas, the Northwest and Arizona. Co. also owns two regional cable news operations, Texas Cable News in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, and Northwest Cable News in Seattle/Tacoma, WA, and two local cable news operations, 24/7 NewsChannel in Boise, ID, and NewsWatch on Channel 15 in New Orleans, LA. Co. also operates, through a joint venture, a cable news channel that provides local news coverage in Phoenix, AZ (Arizona NewsChannel).
