QQQ, SVXY: Big ETF Outflows ETF Channel Staff - Monday, March 5, 12:45 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the PowerShares QQQ (QQQ), which shed 6,150,000 shares, or a 1.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of QQQ, in morning trading today AMAZON.COM Incorporated (AMZN) is up about 0.7%, and Comcast Corporation Class A (CMCSA) is lower by about 1.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Short VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (SVXY), which lost 50,000 of its shares, for a whopping 25.0% decline in outstanding shares.
