IWD, ALTS: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Russell 1000 Value ETF, where 3,950,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IWD, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil is down about 0.8%, and JP Morgan Chase is lower by about 1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Morningstar Alternatives Solution ETF, which lost 180,000 of its units, representing a 32.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of ALTS, in morning trading today Proshares Hedge Replication ETF is trading flat, and Proshares Managed Futures Strategy is relatively unchanged.
