XOP, EZJ: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, July 22, 12:27 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP), where 3,150,000 units were destroyed, or a 18.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XOP, in morning trading today Green Plains (GPRE) is up about 1.5%, and Kodiak Oil & Gas Corporation (KOG) is up by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Proshares Ultra MSCI Japan (EZJ), which lost 150,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
