IEF, LVL: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, July 25, 12:58 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares 7-10 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEF), where 34,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 36.4% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Guggenheim S&P Global Dividend Opportunities Index ETF (LVL), which lost 1,760,000 of its units, representing a 19.1% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of LVL, in morning trading today Montgomery ST Security (MTS) is up about 0.1%, and Vector Group (VGR) is lower by about 0.5%.
