USMV, REW: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, July 16, 1:17 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI USA Minimum Volatility ETF (USMV), which shed 9.8 million shares, or a 9.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of USMV, in morning trading today Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) is up about 0.3%, and General Mills (GIS) is higher by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares UltraShort Technology ETF (REW), which lost 75,000 of its shares, for a whopping 28.6% decline in outstanding shares.
