Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: XSD
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, February 12, 12:44 PMThe SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 40,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 29,000. Shares of XSD were up about 0.5% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Intel (INTC), trading up about 0.5% with over 6.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), up about 3.7% on volume of over 4.9 million shares. Lattice Semiconductor (LSCC) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 4.8% on the day, while Volterra Semiconductor (VLTR) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF, trading lower by about 1.4%.
