SPY, PXLC: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, February 14, 3:29 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which shed 32,500,000 shares, or a 3.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple Incorporated (AAPL) is up about 0.2%, and Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Fundamental Pure Large Core Portfolio (PXLC), which lost 200,000 of its shares, for a whopping 21.1% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of PXLC, in morning trading today 3M Company (MMM) is trading flat, and Boeing Company (BA) is up by about 0.6%.
