OIH, XTN: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, February 28, 12:43 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Oil Services ETF (OIH), which added 4,050,000 shares, or a 12.4% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of OIH, in morning trading today Schlumberger Ltd (SLB) is up about 0.1%, and Halliburton Company (HAL) is higher by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the SPDR S&P Transportation ETF (XTN), which added 150,000 shares, for a whopping 50.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of XTN, in morning trading today Swift Transportation Company (SWFT) is off about 1%, and Kirby Corporation (KEX) is lower by about 0.1%.
