XHB, VIXM: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, January 2, 11:53 AMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (XHB), which shed 2,150,000 shares, or a 2.5% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares VIX Mid-Term Futures ETF (VIXM), which lost 1,450,000 of its shares, for a whopping 57.4% decline in outstanding shares.
