Wednesday's ETF Movers: AXUT, PICK
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, January 16, 11:42 AMIn trading on Wednesday, the iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Utilities Sector Index Fund ETF (AXUT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Centrais Electtricas Brasileiras (EBR.B), up about 2.6% and shares of Korea Electric Power (KEP), up about 0.9% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares MSCI Global Select Metals & Mining Producers Fund ETF (PICK), off about 1.7% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Carpenter Technology (CRS), lower by about 5.7%, and shares of Allegheny Technologies (ATI), lower by about 2.6% on the day.
