UCO, UPRO: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, January 28, 1:38 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Proshares Ultra DJ-UBS Crude Oil (UCO), which shed 2,150,000 shares, or a 15.8% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares UltraPro S&P500 (UPRO), which lost 850,000 of its shares, for a whopping 22.4% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of UPRO, in morning trading today 3M Company (MMM) is trading flat, and Abbott Labs (ABT) is up by about 0.4%.
