Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: RXI
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, January 3, 12:40 PM

The iShares S&P Global Consumer Discretionary Sector Index Fund ETF (RXI) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 125,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 40,000. Shares of RXI were up about 0.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Ford Motor (F), trading up about 2.7% with over 48.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Family Dollar Stores (FDO), down about 11.6% on volume of over 8.0 million shares. Ross Stores (ROST) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 6.6% on the day.
