Thursday's ETF Movers: GLDX, EMFN
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, January 10, 12:39 PMIn trading on Thursday, the Gold Explorers ETF (GLDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Continental Gold J (CNL.CA), up about 4.9% and shares of Rainy River Resources J (RR.CA), up about 4.6% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Financials Sector Index Fund ETF (EMFN), down about 3.9% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Banco Santander Brasil SA (BSBR), lower by about 1.6%, and shares of Icici Bank Limited (IBN), lower by about 0.9% on the day.
