GLD, HGEM: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, January 11, 12:49 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the SPDR Gold Shares (GLD), which shed 3,200,000 shares, or a 0.7% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Health Care GEMS ETF (HGEM), which lost 50,000 of its shares, for a whopping 25.0% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of HGEM, in morning trading today DR Reddys Lab Ltd Adr (RDY) is trading flat, and Mindray Medical International Ltd (MR) is up by about 0.5%.
